Sunday is Blackbook D-Day #17: 'Kces'

Swapping the Letters

A new rainy sunday means a new sketch! The idea of today, I want to inverse the order of my tag letters once in a while, just to get a style refresh. I might do a 'word of the week' soon.. If you want to know what that's all about, keep an eye on the blog!

Quick Graffiti Sketch - Earth Colors

Time to post a quick update and a new sketch for today! Most of the time when I start sketching without a pencil I try to find my yellow marker. Not because I like yellow in every sketch (yeah okay, I do) but because it is the most easy overpainted colour there is, so the most change - proof. Kinda reminded me of these typical seventies colors tho.

Blackbook Graffiti - Stay Strong Paris

A tragedy turned into a sketch

Today isn't what it had to be. I want to upload happy things on sunday, with the typical 'Sunday is Blackbook D-Day' posts. Update you guys on my progress. It didn't feel good, with the tragedy that took place in Paris past friday, in the back of my head.

As someone from Europe who has never been to Paris, you would think that it did not hit me. But those haunting scenes on national television, cannot be unseen. Facebook drenched in the French Flag.. This way I want to say I'm with all people in Paris. We will get through together. Stay strong! #prayforparis

Sunday is Blackbook D-Day #16: Border Patrol II

Part II on the Border Patrol sketches!

Do you guys remember the Border Patrol graffiti from april 2015? I really want to put this stuff on the wall, but the weather isn't willing to let us paint this weekend. Time to invest more time in the sketch part then! More letter stylez to come..

I did start this sketch with the 2 buckets of latex paint I have in the shelf, a beige/brown teint and the killing red from last time in Alkmaar. This, together with blue and green results in a popping piece. Enjoy!
