TATTOO LETTERING - 'EXPRESS' IMAGE TRACE IN PHOTOSHOP

After about a year drawing and crumbling paper I didn't got the right sketch for the tattoo on my underarm but I came one step closer to the end result: I can dream the letterdesign now haha. So with the things I've learned on school I decided to make up the letters in Illustrator, take a photo of my hand, reflect it, and combine it in Photoshop. Came out well I think!

When the moment is there, I am going to write a story about my first tattoo, and I'll describe the way I went through the process! Got some ideas already about which tattoo studio I am going to pick. Anyways, I think about getting this tattoo soon, what do you think?

SCHOOL ASSIGNMENT - GETTING INTO PHOTO EDITING!

Last weeks are intense at school, that's the reason there were not that many updates.. We are learning to work with Photoshop CS6, first I hated it but now I'm liking it more and more. I make more 'exotic' photos from now on, its like a challenge I've won because of the knowledge I have now. 

I did learn alot. Alot of playin' around with the blending modes in the seperate layers in a photo. Using my own photo's was the fun part though. :) Did a touchup on a photo I've made tonight. Can you spot all the differences? Comment! And don't forget to share my page people!

Ha, wanted to get that mirror feelin' so practiced some chrome lettering.. The E is not the same style as the others, was so proud.. Until I started with the 3d. This ugly green thing destroyed it.

But anyways, I like the result for the 1st time. Bigups!

We're getting into designing a dvd box at school, with everything from a logo to a style guide to a poster for (imagine they were real) their first concert. All is in these 8 weeks of hard work, but i'm getting better because of the criticism from the guys in my class and off course the teachers.

Thanks Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam for teaching me so much about exporting, printing, and off course designing the dopest shit. Here's a logo I made at school.. Our band is called 'Reckless' and its all about Indie Rock, which is off course not heavy metal. So we kept our logo fresh and clean. Enjoy!
